What's for dinner? Smoked and pineapple glazed pork chops



Smoked and pineapple glazed pork chops

Pork loin chops x 4 - From Chop Artisan Butchery
1/4 cabbage 
2 full corn cobs (cut in half) 
Pantry bits and bobs
Cooking time from start to finish 40 mins 
Cost $7.25 per serve


About 1 cup of brown sugar
Splash of vinegar (any, I used apple cider) 
1 T mustard powder 
1 T cornflour 
440g crushed pineapple 
Heat low in a saucepan and reduce till sticky 
Cook pork chops on a BBQ/Webber  if using indirect heat dunk in glaze before cooking and baste away till cooked. If direct heat is being used cook a bit first and then baste (it will burn otherwise) 








Cabbage 
Knob of butter 
1 T sweet paprika 
Chilli flakes or cayenne pepper to taste
Garlic
Heat together and when bubbling add cabbage. Stir till cooked to your liking 

Corn: boil for 7 mins and then finish on the BBQ/Webber cover with butter/chilli and a squirt of lime juice 


Serve all together = delicious
